ap-joe-biden

I couldn’t believe it when I first saw Joe Biden entering the 2020 race for president. I know he is doing it on behalf of his recently deceased son who said to him before dying, “Run dad, run.”If Biden were to win he’d be older than Reagan was when he left the presidency. Biden was always known for his ridiculous gaffes and now he was running for president. Biden is famous for his gaffes, and he has been since during and even before Barack Obama was President. Things are different this time, however, as it appears as if Biden simply can’t help himself anymore, but I didn’t think his campaign was going to be this much of a train wreck.

Liberals in the biased mainstream media were quick to hold Obama’s number two up as the savior of the Democratic Party and the candidate who could beat President Donald Trump in 2020. They were actually that blind?

But the likes of CNN celebrities, MSNBC personalities, and New York Times columnists and others are echoing the same failed messaging they did with regard to Hillary Clinton. During the run-up to the 2016 election, outlets such as CNN went as far as to give Hillary advanced debate questions in an effort to trounce Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders. The Democratic Party’s process was rigged, and the media was in on the hit on “Crazy” Bernie.

This time around, liberal pundits came out backing “Creepy” Joe Biden, and they are already regretting that early support. It’s become abundantly clear through a series of ongoing missteps, gaffes, and faux pas that the Obama-era subordinate does not have the strength of will to take on President Trump, but I would love to see those two debate.

“Joe Biden has truly lost his fastball,” Trump said about the former VP’s lackluster campaign performance so far.

In the months before announcing his official campaign to seek the Democratic Party’s nomination, Biden tried to liken President Trump to segregationist George Wallace, yet Biden had his own associations and references to segregationists, but other Wallace references should have been warning signs that Biden lacked the political savvy or common sense to defeat a successful Republican president riding the wave a robust economy he helped create.

“I think the Democratic Party could stand a liberal George Wallace — someone who’s not afraid to stand up and offend people, someone who wouldn’t pander but would say what the American people know in their gut is right,” Biden said referencing the notoriously racist Alabama governor from the Civil Rights era.

The former vice president also made statements applauding Wallace despite his party’s identity politics that favors minorities over white Americans. In a talk that should have resulted in expulsion from his party’s ranks, Biden positioned himself among the Democratic slave owners during the American Civil War.

Bragging about receiving an award from Wallace, Biden said: “We (Delawareans) were on the South’s side in the Civil War.” That implies Biden is not only a pro-segregation racist, but would have supported the institution of slavery. His bizarre statements have been reported as gaffes and excused by his supporters in the fake news media. One has to wonder if this is just him speaking the truth about his own personal dysfunction the same way Hillary said, “We’re going to put a lot of coal miners and coal companies out of business.”

But Biden’s so-called gaffes tend to have powerful racist implications. In a recent Iowa campaign stump, he managed to offend the very targeted demographic he was addressing. Again, his comments echoed of racism.

“We have this notion that somehow if you’re poor, you cannot do it. Poor kids are just as bright and just as talented as white kids,” Biden said, who then corrected himself. “Wealthy kids, black kids, Asian kids. No, I really mean it. But think how we think about it. We think how we’re going to dumb it down. They can do anything anybody else can do, given a shot.”

Biden also once commented that “You cannot work in a 7-11 unless you have a slight Indian accent” or how about when he was addressing a black caucus group and said “Unchain wall street. They’re going to put you all back in chains.” Imagine if Trump or a republican said that? They’d be run out of town and demanding their head on a silver platter.

When speaking at a recent college event, as Biden was leaving the stage a young coed asked him how many genders does he think there is. When he  answered  “three” she asked him to name them at which time he grabbed her by the arm and said, “Don’t play games with me girl.” The women said she was so insulted by that and rightly so especially with him grabbing her like that. Again the biased media gives him a pass.

When creepy Uncle Joe  Biden smells young girls’ hair or gently touches them on the arms and back the medial looks the other way,but have a republican do that and it is the end of the line for them.

Many liberal pundits gave the 79-year-old ex-VP a pass for this overt racism, but some in the far left media outlets have already begun panning him. The Atlantic, among others, pushed back on Biden’s equating poverty and stupidity with people of color. If the president or any Republican had made such a statement, there would be calls for resignation and public condemnation. It escapes common sense that the faltering Joe Biden has any chance of going toe-to-toe with President Trump in a national debate. Obviously, he’s already getting trounced by mid-level candidates such as California Senator Kamala Harris.

“He isn’t as compelling verbally,” a Madison County Democratic party leader said. “There is starting to be a real fear that he cannot hold his own in the debate against Donald Trump.” Another Iowa party insider wished “he’d get his mojo back.”

What mojo? I never thought he had any to begin with which is why thy hew refer to him as “sleepy, creepy  Uncle Joe.”I can’t picture Biden meeting with Kim Jung Un or president Chi in China and making tough deals like Trump does.

Other gaffes that demonstrate Biden has lost his fastball, as the president so aptly stated, include comments such as “we choose truth over facts.” No one in the audience or media has unraveled that strange comment. One former staffer who worked for former Senator Harry Reid pointed out that Biden is stumbling while campaigning at a snail’s pace compared to other hopefuls.

“Everybody else is out there doing a heavy schedule and he’s not,” Adam Jentleson said about Biden’s light schedule. “If we’re talking about, all told, a year-and-a-half here, that’s the real distance that people have to go, so part of a primary is vetting candidates and seeing if they have what it takes to go the distance.”

What remains to be seen may not be whether Biden has “lost his fastball.” Voters may want to ask if he ever had one. Democrats may want to think about supporting another candidate, but I would love to grab the  popcorn and  watch  him go against Trump.
